The
Dartford & Gravesham Business Awards are now open for applications.
This year the awards are offering a prize fund of £5,000.
Last year’s awards were the biggest yet, after the committee decided to expand the catchment area to include the borough of Gravesham.
The 2008 awards see health and hygiene giant Kimberly-Clark and business developer Start join as sponsors.
Councillor Tony Martin the Council’s deputy leader and portfolio holder for business and finance, said “Every year I’m impressed with the standard of competition entries which reassures me that we have a dynamic business heart in Dartford. I expect to be impressed again this year”.
Companies wishing to enter should fill out the form below and return it to:Thames Gateway (Kent) Chamber of Commerce, Stirling House, Culpepper Close, Medway City Estate, Rochester, Kent, ME2 4HN, before the closing date of 11 April 2008.
To qualify businesses need to have their main offices in either Dartford or Gravesham boroughs, have an annual turnover of less than £5.6 million and have been in business for at least a year on 1 January 2008. The size of the company does not matter. All previous years’ entrants are eligible.
