Every household
has a liability for Council Tax. Council Tax, together with income from
services and Central Government grants, provides the money for Dartford
Borough Council to provide local services such as refuse collection,
street cleaning, to manage its parks and open spaces and many other services.

A large proportion of the Council Tax from Dartford goes to Kent County Council to pay for countywide services such as schools, libraries, social services and the fire service.
