The Deep Clean initiative
The fantastic Deep Clean team take turns to blitz a different ward within the borough in a week-long cleaning spree to improve your surroundings. They leave no stone unturned in their quest to clean up your area but your help can really make a big difference.
We are asking if you can lend a hand to help the team in their mission to make your neighbourhood one to be proud of.
All you need to do is turn up, you will be provided with all of the equipment that you will need to help the Deep Clean team clean up your area.

We introduced the Deep Clean initiative six years ago and in that time it has grown from strength to strength. The Deep Clean team tackles everything from graffiti and litter to overgrown pathways and uneven car park surfaces and their next project is a week long Deep Clean in Sutton at Hone.
Council staff, contractors and partners will be working hard during Deep Clean week and in the months ahead. Please give them your support and co-operation.
We are working closely with local people and representatives to ensure we target our resources effectively. Below, we outline some of the ways you can help us make your community better.
What are we doing?
During the week, Dartford Borough Council officers and contractors will
be in town to deal with graffiti, vandalism, dumped rubbish and more.
How you can help
To keep Sutton at Honefree from dumped rubbish, residents can take advantage
of the Council's bulky waste removal service. There is a small fee
for this service. The Council can also advise on other methods of
collection, such as charities that would be happy to take away unwanted
items of furniture.
Rubbish can also be taken to the KCC Household Waste Recycling Centres at Dartford Heath and Pepperhill. The centres are open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 4.30pm and from 9am to 4pm on Sundays.
