Dartford Heritage Open Days 8-11 September 2011
Dartford's Heritage Open Days once again invited residents to enjoy some of the Borough's more intriguing buildings as they opened their doors to visitors.
Running from 8-11 September, this year's event also included a range of walks and talks.
Visitors discovered more about Dartford Judo Club which is being used to prepare our Judo athletes for 2012's Olympics, the eco-friendly Princes Park Stadium home to Dartford FC and the locally-inspired features of Bluewater, as these award-winning buildings opened their doors for guided tours for the first time.
The Manor Gatehouse, Orchard Theatre and Twisleton Almshouses also opened their doors to visitors.
Back for the third year was the hugely popular heritage bus tour - taking in the sights of the Borough with a guide from Dartford Borough Museum.
