Kent Homechoice from your living room
If you're registered with the Kent Homechoice scheme, you can look for a new home and bid for it from the comfort of your own sofa via the interactive services menu on your television set. Bids can be made via a TV set with Sky, Virgin or interactive Freeview digital boxes.
As the KentHomechoice freesheet, detailing available properties, is now no longer published, you are urged to begin using alternative forms of bidding. Bids can still be made online via Kent Homechoice website (www.kenthomechoice.org.uk) , by post, by phone and the new TV bidding system adds an extra option to the existing ways you can bid for available properties.
Whilst the Council is keen for bidders to use the online services available, properties will continue to be advertised at the Civic Centre, Swanscombe Cash Office and in the Council’s supported housing schemes. You can also use the computers at your local library and the Civic Centre to make your bid.
