Made in accordance with Regulation 9(1) of the Local Authorities (England) (charges for property searches) regulations 2008.
Based on apportioned staff costs, internal recharges, IT costs, storage & insurance from 2011/12 budgets. The estimated total costs of maintaining the Local Land Charges Register and answering property searches at Dartford Borough Council for the financial year 2011/2012 is £85,500.

LLC1 - A search to provide applicants with details of entries on the LLC Register in respect of a property
CON29 - A Search which serves to provide applicants with information that relates to the property and the area where the property is situated
Personal Search - A third party copies the information from the Local Land Charges Register only
Paper Searches - A search submitted to and returned by the Council as a paper hardcopy document
Electronic Searches - A search submitted to and returned by the Council electronically from and to a variety of applicants
