THE CHEQUERS PUBLIC HOUSE - OUTCOME OF HEARING HELD ON 9 NOVEMBER 2005

The Licensing Sub-Committee returned the following decision:

Hours:

Monday to Wednesday 11am until 11pm with an additional 20 minutes drinking up time.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11am until 11-30pm with an additional 30 minutes drinking up time.
Sundays 12 noon until 10-30pm with an additional 20 minutes drinking up time.

The premises are to be closed to the public after drinking up time.

Live Music:

Live music (1 to 5 performers) is only permitted inside the premises at the following times:
Friday & Saturday 7pm until 11pm
Sunday 3pm until 7pm.
Bank Holidays 1pm until 7pm
Christmas Eve & New Years Eve all music to cease at terminal hour for the supply of alcohol or midnight whichever is the earlier.

Recorded Music:

Recorded music is only permitted inside the premises at the following times:
Monday to Wednesday 11am until 11pm.
Thursday, Friday & Saturday 11am until 11-30pm.
Sunday 12 noon until 10-30pm.
Christmas Eve & New Years Eve all music to cease at terminal hour for the supply of alcohol or midnight whichever is the earlier.


Additional Conditions Imposed (Prevention of Public Nuisance & Prevention of Crime & Disorder):

1. No admission or re-admission is allowed into the premises after 11pm.
2. The DPS or person holding a personal licence must be on the premises after 11pm.
3. All alcohol must be served in toughened glasses.
4. Any live or amplified music shall not be audible at any external boundary of any residential premises.
5. All external doors and windows must be kept closed, other than for access and egress, in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech are taking place.
6. The garden area is closed to the public after 10pm.
7. The playing of live or recorded music in garden areas of the premises is not allowed, unless permitted by a Temporary Event Notice.
