THE GREYHOUND PUBLIC HOUSE - OUTCOME OF HEARING HELD 8 FEBRUARY 2006

The Licensing Sub-Committee returned the following decision:

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 10am until 12 midnight with an additional 30 minutes drinking up time.

Friday and Saturday 10am until 00-30am with an additional 30 minutes drinking up time.

Sundays 10am until 12 midnight with an additional 30 minutes drinking up time.

An additional hour is permitted after the above times on New Years Day, Valentines Day, Thursday before Good Friday, Good Friday, Easter Saturday/Sunday/Monday, Monday of all Bank Holiday Weekends, St Patrick's Day, St George's Day, St David's Day, St Andrew's Day and 23 - 30 December inclusive.

Late Night Refreshment (supply of hot food or drink after 11pm) is permitted but no hot food is to be ordered any later than 1 hour before the end of licensable activities.

Additional Conditions Imposed by Sub-Committee with regard to the Prevention of Public Nuisance - namely concerns of Noise Nusiance to neighbouring properties:

1. After 11pm any live or amplified music shall be reduced in volume so that it is not audible at any external boundary of any residential premises.

2. Prominent, clear and legible notices will be displayed at the exits asking customers and staff to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.

3. All external doors and windows must be kept closed, other than for access and egress, in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech are taking place.
