The Plough Public House - Additional Conditions imposed by Licensing Sub-Committee at Review Hearing on 31 January 2008

1. The DPS will ensure an incident log is completed in respect of incidents relating to crime and disorder which are reported to the Police;

2. The DPS will ensure that all persons under 18 years old will be supervised at all times and away from the premises after 20:00;

3. The DPS will ensure that a strict no sales of alcohol to under 18's policy is enforced and any person who may appear to be under the age of 21 years will require an ID check prior to being served with any alcoholic drinks;

4. The DPS will ensure that the present CCTV system is fully operational and working at all times. If the equipment fails the Police and Local Authority must be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps are to be taken to put the equipment back into service. CCTV recordings are to be maintained for at least 31 days and a copy given to a Police Officer whenever required;

5. The DPS will ensure that the toilets are regularly checked and warning notices in relation to drugs are displayed. The DPS will act on advice given by the Police in relation to drugs use in the whole of the public house;

6. The DPS will accept that the Police will make regular visits to the premises and will be able to use passive dogs and drugs testing equipment whilst there. The local Police Drugs Liaison Officer will be able to obtain drugs swabs for forensic testing from within the premises;

7. The DPS will train all staff in their responsibilities and this training will be documented;

8. The DPS is to be present during all evening trading sessions on Friday and Saturdays or when a special function is held. If this is not to be the case, the Police shall be informed of the person taking responsibility for that evening 7 days prior to the evening, save for sickness;

9. The DPS or a personal licence holder is to be present during all trading sessions;

10. For a 3 month period, the DPS will employ at least 2 SIA registered Door Supervisors on Friday and Saturday evenings between the times of 20:00 hours and half an hour after closing time. Also to include special functions and when entertainment is being provided at other times.

These SIA Door Supervisors are to display their badges at all times whilst on duty and should wear clothing that can be easily observed. After the 3 month period the existing condition relating to Door Supervisors shown at Schedule 'A', condition 8(a) will continue to apply;

11. The DPS will ensure that the immediate area outside the premises is checked for signs of litter associated directly with the premises after closing time.
