THE WALNUT TREE - OUTCOME OF HEARING HELD 10 AUGUST 2005
The Licensing Sub-Committee returned the following decision:
Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 10am until 11-30pm with an additional 30 minutes
drinking up time.
Friday and Saturday: 10am until 12 midnight with an additional 30
minutes drinking up time.
Sundays: 11am until 11-30pm with an additional 30 minutes drinking
up time.
Additional Conditions Imposed (Regarding the Prevention
of Crime & Disorder):
All alcohol will be served in toughened or plastic glasses and they
are not to be removed from the licensed area. Staff must remove
all bottles and glasses from public areas as soon as they are empty
or finished.
CCTV will be installed and working to the satisfaction of the Police
and Licensing Authority, with recordings retained for at least 1
month. If the equipment fails, the Police and Licensing Authority
must be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps will be
taken to put the equipment back into service.
Notices are to be placed and displayed at the entrance to the premises
advising that CCTV is in operation.
All inclusive nights or other irresponsible drinks promotions are
not to be permitted.
The management must ensure that the premises have a ZERO drugs policy
in place and a copy is to be forwarded to the Police and Licensing
Authority.
There will be no admission or re-admission to the premises after
23-00 on any day.
The area at the front of the premises adjacent to the footway is
not to be utilised by patrons during trading hours.
Conditions Regarding The Prevention of Public Nuisance:
Disposal of waste bottles into external receptacles where the noise
will be audible to neighbouring properties must not occur between
23-00 and 10-00.
Noise limiting devices shall be fitted to amplification equipment,
including that used by visiting entertainers, and shall be set at
a level agreed with Dartford Borough Council's Environmental Health
Services Manager.
The playing of live or recorded music in garden areas of the premises
is not permitted.
All live and recorded music will cease at 23-00.
