Validation checklists
Following government guidance issued at the end of last year, the Council has now adopted local validation checklists, which are set out below. Applicants are encouraged to submit a completed checklist with each application. Failure to do so will not make the application invalid in itself, but if you do not provide the information required by the checklists, your application may be treated as invalid.

- V2 - Householder with Conservation Area Consent
- V3 - Householder with Listed Building Consent
- V4 - Planning Permission
- V5 - Outline Planning Permission with some Matters Reserved
- V6 - Outline Planning Permission with all Matters Reserved
- V7 - Planning Permission and Conservation Area Consent for Demolition
- V8 - Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent
- V9 - Planning Permission with Advertisement consent
- V10 - Conservation Area Consent for demolition in a Conservation Area
- V11 - Listed Building for alterations, extension or demolition of a Listed Building
- V12 - Advertisement consent
- V13 - Listed Building and Conservation Area consent
- V14 - Listed Building consent for alterations, extension or demolition a Listed Building with Advertisement Consent
- V15 - Lawful Development Certificate for Existing Use or Operation or activity including those in breach of a Planning Condition
- V16 - Lawful Development Certificate for Proposed Use or Development
- V17 - Prior Notification of Proposed Agricultural Development - Propsed building, road, fish tank or excavation/deposit of waste material from a farm
- V18 - Prior Notification of Proposed Development in respect of Permitted Development by Electronic Communications Code Operators
- V19 - Hedgerow Removal Notice
- V20 - Prior Notification of Proposed Demolition
- V21 - Approval of Reserved Matters
- V22 - Removal or Variation of a Condition following the Grant of Planning Permission
- V23 - Works to Trees subject to a Tree Preservation Order or Notification of proposed works to Trees in a Conservation Area
- V24 - Approval of Details Reserved by Condition
