CORE STRATEGY
The Core Strategy is a planning document containing a spatial vision and objectives for Dartford to 2026 and a strategy for how this will be achieved. It is part of the Local Development Framework – a set of plan documents which cover different aspects of planning in the borough.

A 'Postcard from the Future' public consultation was undertaken in August 2005. This consultation formed the Issues and Options stage of the Core Strategy.

A public consultation exercise for the Preferred Options for the Core Strategy took place between 31st January and 31st March 2008.
