Household waste recycling centres
Household waste recycling centres are facilities which allow you to drop off household waste items for recycling.
Facilities are available for disabled users at the Household Waste Recycling Centres. Site staff can assist with the unloading of vehicles as necessary on request.
Please note, there are vehicle height barriers set at 2m (6'6") at all Household Waste Recycling Centres.
Opening hours:
- Monday to Saturday 8am to 4.30pm
- Sunday and Bank Holidays 9am to 4pm
- Late night opening until 7pm every Wednesday from April to September.
- Sites are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Permits
- Dartford residents should display a permit when using the sites. Should you require a permit please contact the helpline on 0845 3450210. Permits are limited to one per household only.
- Gravesham residents need to show proof of address in order to use the Rochester Way tip.
