Running a business from home
Dartford Borough Council wants to encourage its tenants and leaseholders to run their own businesses from home; however tenants and leaseholders must seek permission from the Council first, by completing an application form.

Conditions to home working
The Council will not allow someone to work from home if:
- It is likely to cause nuisance to neighbours
- It is an illegal, improper or immoral activity
- It would require major adaptation of the property or advertisement boards, or would damage the property in some way.
