PUCCINI
LA BOHEME

Ellen Kent & Amphitheatre Productions present a spectacular new autumn tour, bringing a touch of Arena Di Verona to the Orchard Theatre following our premiere performance of Carmen in Leeds Castle, Kent in August 2008.

This magnificent traditional production will be performed by handpicked international soloists alongside the full Chisinau National Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus in an amphitheatre setting.

La Boheme will be set within the amphitheatre structure which will be intriguingly converted into the attics and backstreets of Bohemian Paris. The poignancy of this tragic opera will be set against the stunning backdrops inspired by Chagall, Renoir and the Impressionists and Act 2 will even boast snow!  This beautiful production will feature authentic costumes of the period.

With the most romantic music Puccini ever wrote, La Boheme will include the famous aria Your Tiny Hand is Frozen.

Not to be missed!

Sung in Italian with English surtitles.
