Expansion and improvement of the Orchards Shopping Centre providing opportunities for new major retailers, as well as leisure facilities such as bars and restaurants and possibly a bowling alley or cinema.
An enlarged square outside the Orchard Theatre will form the focus of this new 'leisure quarter'.
The now empty Co-op store will be redeveloped for shops on the ground floor with homes above.
